चिकित्सा-शिक्षा पद्धति में पारंगत, स्वभाव में सहज-सरल डॉ. एच.के अग्रवाल को पंडित भगवत दयाल शर्मा स्वास्थ्य विज्ञान विश्वविद्यालय में कुलसचिव के जिम्मेदार पद पर नियुक्ति मिली है। देश-विदेश में 120 से अधिक चिकित्सा सम्मेलन-सेमिनारों में उल्लेनीय उपस्थिति रखते हुए डॉ. अग्रवाल ने हरियाणा का प्रतिनिधित्व किया है। कंट्रोवर्सी से परे बेदाग छवि लिए जीवन के 25 बरस से चिकित्सा सेवा में जुटे डॉ. अग्रवाल का लक्ष्य संस्थान में ढांचागत सुधार और बेहतर चिकित्सीय माहौल बनाना है, ताकि यह संस्थान देश के उच्चकोटि के चिकित्सा संस्थानों की फेहरिश्त में शामिल हो सके। इस कार्य को पूरा करने के लिए वह अपने वरिष्ठ और कनिष्ठ सहयोगी चिकित्सकों को साथ लेकर आगे बढऩे में विश्वास रखते हैं। व्यस्त दिनचर्या के बीच मेडिकेयर न्यूज से बातचीत में डॉ. अग्रवाल ने माना कि प्रबंधन कार्यों की जिम्मेदारी और ओपीडी में मरीजों के सेवा के बीच समन्वय बैठाना थोड़ा कठिन है, लेकिन उनका प्रयास रहेगा कि वह मरीजों को पहले की तरह पूरा समय दें। सामाजिक कार्यों में आगे रहने वाले मेडिसिन विभाग के वरिष्ठ प्राचार्य डॉ. अग्रवाल पीजीआई में पीपीपी मॉडल की पहल को व्यवस्था सुधार की दिशा में सार्थक कदम मानते हैं। मेडिकेयर न्यूज की कोशिश रहेगी कि समय-समय पर बीमारियों पर चर्चा एवं पीजीआई में व्यवस्था सुधार पर डॉ. अग्रवाल के कार्य पाठकों के बीच लाएंगे।
